4/23/00 Easter Sunday is Wet
For only the second time in memory, the traditional Easter Egg Hunt
was rained out. The Henderson clan joined us for cocktails and snacks,
but the 300+ eggs were dumped on the dining room table and the kids shared
opening them one at a time to collect the contents. So everyone tied for
first place this year.

Opening the Eggs...
Emily VanWinkle, Brian Romanelli (hidden),
Danny Dalpiaz,
Sharon VanWinkle, Joshua & Sharon Sengstock, Steve Romanelli
Paul Sengstock,
Julie Dalpiaz, Steve & Elaine Romanelli
(his back), Emily VanWinkle, and Danny Dalpiaz
Jill & Greg Sengstock (at rear) hidden by chandelier
Also participating was David Dalpiaz, whose broken hand (barely visible
above) was a real handicap!
Afterward, we had a dinner of lamb and ham. We had given Jill five years
to learn to eat lamb at Easter, but we're into our ninth year and a bit
lax with her training.
